I am a creative mind based in the UK. I have a background in fashion design, illustration and graphic design. My journey started when I was studying engineering. One of the requirements was to pass AutoCAD, and It was one of the exams I passed with an A! It was amazing to see that my brain understand the 3D form so easily, it felt like I found a treasure! I understood my future was in the creative industry. So I dropped out the University and went to art classes to enter the exams again. I made it!
Studying Fashion design was a unique experience. Practicing movements like Fluxus and Bauhaus. How did they bend the basic rules and pushed the boundaries and challenge their audience and the authority. They inspired generations. As individuals we always want to find a way to express ourselves and art was the one for me.
I decided to complete my master in Fashion Management. In group projects, I earned my place as a visual artist. It was my responsibility to develop a visual language that is suitable for branding. In the meantime, I was supporting my group as they work on the marketing strategies. We worked on a client base brief, each of them had its challenges. We overcame every one of them one by one. That's where I learned the importance of group dynamics and good teamwork. This can lead you to the ultimate success.
The Masters in Illustration and Book Arts was one of the best decision I made to discover my own ways and my skill set as a creative. I was obsessed to find my methodology to communicate with my reader. I chose to adopt topics that have a negative impact on society, the reason is, the way I approached them opened my mind to accept them as it is rather than ignoring them.
